Established in 1999, Henzel Studio is a Swedish luxury rug manufacturer that is widely regarded as one of the most progressive figures in the industry. At the helm of the studio is founder and creative director Calle Henzel, whose wide artistic practice also encompasses painting and collage.

Henzel Studio were recently invited by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts to collaborate on the design of a collection of handmade art rugs celebrating one of Warhol’s most iconic subjects: Marilyn Monroe. The studio has worked on a number of unique and exclusive commercial projects around the world including multiple DKNY stores, the NYC public library, Aspen’s Sky Hotel, New York’s Visa HQ, and the Los Angeles Ritz-Carlton hotel.
